COMILLA, Dec 18 (UNB): Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) jawans seized one kg heroin and 150 kgs of hemp worth Tk 11.5 million from separate places of the district Thursday.
Sources said a BDR patrol team seized the heroin from a Comilla bound bus at Dakkhingram bazaar under Burichang Upazila.
Besides, BDR jawans seized the hemp at Basantapur under Chouddagram Upazila on the same day.
The seized drugs were deposited to Comilla Narcotics Control Department.
