Dry weather likely

Weather may remain mainly dry in Dhaka and elsewhere across the country today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

Night temperature may fall slightly over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere across the country.

On the other hand, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the Met Office said.

It also forecasted that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram division; at a few places over Barishal division and at one or two places over Khulna and Sylhet divisions.

Maximum temperature in Dhaka increased slightly to 31.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday compared to 31 degrees in the previous day.

The country's highest temperature was recorded at 33 degrees Celsius in Faridpur on the day.

The sun sets at 05:17 pm today (Wednesday) and will rise at 06:06 am tomorrow (Thursday).
