The 53rd convocation of Dhaka University (DU) will be held on November 19 at the university's central playground on the campus.
The convocation will also be held at two separate venues on Dhaka College campus and Eden Mohila College campus at the same time for the students of its affiliated colleges.
For the students of Dhaka College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Government Bangla College and Government Titumir College, Dhaka College campus has been selected for the convocation venue, while Eden Mohila College campus has been selected for the students of Eden Mohila College and Begum Badrunnessa Government Girls' College
At the convocation, President of Bangladesh and also the Chancellor of the university Mohammad Abdul Hamid will be present, said a press release on Friday.
According to the Syndicate decision, the Nobel laureate French economist Jean Tirole is scheduled to attend the convocation this year.
The graduates who passed from August 26, 2019 to October 13, 2022 on different courses, can participate in the convocation. For participating in the convocation, graduates have to apply through online using the website https://convocation.du.ac.bd from October 7, 2022 to October 26, 2022 at 11:59 pm.
