DU 'Cha' unit entry test held

The Dhaka University (DU) admission test of 'Cha' unit (general knowledge) under the Faculty of Fine Arts was held on Friday in eight divisional cities for the first year honors programme for 2021-22 academic session.

The test was held from 11:00 am to 11:30 am with the marks of 40.

A total of 7,440 students applied against 130 seats of 'Cha' unit where around 57 students will vie for one seat, said a press release.

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Pro-VC Prof Dr Muhammad Samad (Administration), Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr A S M Maksud Kamal, Treasurer Prof Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed 'Cha' Unit test coordinator and Fine Arts Faculty Dean Prof Nisar Hossain, Registrar Probir Kumar Sarker, DU Teachers' Association (DUTA) General Secretary Prof Dr Md Nizamul Hoque Buiyan, Proctor Dr A K M Golam Rabbani and others visited Fine Arts building and other centers of the campus area.
