DU entry test begins today

The Dhaka University (DU) admission tests for the first year honours will begin today (Friday). The 'Ga' unit test under Business Studies faculties will be held today (Friday) and the 'Kha' unit admission test under Faculty of Arts for the 2021-22 academic session will take place tomorrow (Saturday).

The admission tests will be held on DU campus and divisional cities from 11am to 12:30pm with total marks 120. Only 'Cha' unit entry test (general knowledge) will be held from 11 am to 11:30 am.

However, this year, the GPA score conditions for the applicants have been eased.

The students of science background in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent exams could apply for 'Ka' and 'Gha' unit entry tests if they had a total of minimum GPA 8.00 with the condition that they must had minimum 3.50 in both SSC or HSC or equivalent exams.

The students of Arts and Commerce background in HSC or equivalent exams could apply for 'Kha', 'Ga' and 'Gha' unit entry tests if they had a total of minimum GPA 7.5 with the condition that they must had at least 3.00 in both SSC or HSC or equivalent exams.

The entry test of 'Ka' unit will be held on June 10 (Friday), 'Gha' unit on June 11 (Saturday) and 'Cha' unit (general knowledge) on June 17.

Of the 120, 20 marks will be given on the basis of results of SSC and HSC, and admission tests will be held on the rest 100 marks.
