DU observes Hiroshima Day

Dhaka University (DU) observed the Hiroshima Day through holding a special lecture and a poster exhibition Wednesday.

The Department of Peace and Conflict of DU and non-government organisation Hunger Free World (HFW) jointly organised the function at the university's RC Mojumder auditorium.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor AFM Yusuf Haider was present as the chief guest at the function with department Chairman Md Rafiqul Islam in the chair.

Former Foreign Secretary Muhammad Jamir delivered a special lecture on 'weapons of mass destruction, disarmament and Bangladesh' at the function.
