EC officials assault TV men in city

A reporter and a cameraman of 'Channel 24', a private TV channel, were assaulted by some Election Commission (EC) officials at Agargaon in the city Wednesday noon, reports UNB.

The victims were identified as Mustafizur Alam and Ripu Alam, reporter and cameraman of the news channel respectively.

Morshed Hassib Hasan, another reporter of the news channel, confirmed news agency about the matter.

Reporter Mustafiz along with cameraperson Ripu went to the National Identity Registration Wing of the Election Commission around 12pm to gather news, Hassib described.
