The 11th 'Education UK Exhibition-2009' will take place at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel from March 8 to 9. A daylong exhibition will also be held at Hotel Peninsula in Chittagong on March 11.

Organisers at a press conference in the city Monday said Foreign Minister Dipu Moni would inaugurate the two-day exhibition at Sheraton Hotel at 10:30 am on March 8.

British Council (BC) is organising the fair in a bid to provide a live opportunity for prospective Bangladeshi students, teachers and training managers to find out more by talking directly to the UK institutions and their representatives.

At least 37 UK universities and colleges including University of Abertay Dundee, University of Bedfordshire, Birmingham City University, University of East London, Middlesex University and University of Nottingham will set up stalls at the exhibition.

The exhibition will remain open from 11 am to 8 pm everyday. Entry fee at the exhibition will cost Tk 60.

British Council Director Charles Nuttal, Education and Society Manager Raiqah Walie-Khan, Marketing Services Officer Shakila Azim and Head of Visa and Consular Services of British High Commission in Dhaka Stuart Percival attended the press conference.
