Eight deer sent to Khulna breeding centre

PIROJPUR, June 6 (UNB): Eight deer, seized by joint forces from the house of a government official, were sent to Khulna Wild Animal Management Department following a court order.

The deer will be released at Karamjal Wild Animal Breeding Centre in Khulna, officials said.

Joint forces arrested government official Anwar Hossain alias Najir, who is on LPR, from Pirojpur Bus Stand on May 29. Later, they recovered four arms along with bullets and eight deer from the house of the controversial man on that night.

When produced the court also granted a two-day police remand for Najir Tuesday.
