Elderly woman killed in Jatrabari road crash

An elderly woman has been killed after being hit by a bus while crossing the road in the capital's Jatrabari, reports UNB.
The deceased is Anwara Begum (65), daughter of late Nazim Uddin of the Ali area under Bandar Police Station in Narayanganj district. She had been living as a tenant at a house in Rasulpur Dhania Alam Saheb area.
The accident occurred around 1:30 pm on Saturday in the Jhatrabari Jhatra College area when a speeding bus struck her as she was crossing the road.
