Engineers' Day today ---

The 75th founding anniversary of the Engineers Institution, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Engineers' Day will be observed in the country today (Sunday), reports BSS.

On this occasion, Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina has issued a message greeting the engineers.

The premier, in her message, said engineers have to play a more effective role in environmental development, implementation of Delta Plan, fourth industrial revolution, construction of suitable infrastructure to combat climate change and its adverse effects and achieve food and energy security.

She said the role of engineers is very important in the country's overall development.

Sheikh Hasina said the engineers are putting the country forward through technical and engineering development.
