CHATTOGRAM, May 07: Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Dhaka Lulzim Pllana visited Chittagong Port on Thursday.
Commodore Ahmed Amin Abdullah, Member (Harbor and Marine), Chittagong Port Authority (CPA), paid him a courtesy call. During the meeting, fruitful discussions were held between the two sides on maritime cooperation, port development, logistics management and the prospects of strengthening economic and trade relations between Bangladesh and the Balkan region.
Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Dhaka Lulzim Pllana emphasized future cooperation with Kosovo, exchange of experiences, cargo handling and increasing regional connectivity, particularly through the use of Albanian seaports. Both sides expressed hope to work together in the future to develop the maritime sector, information technology, education and port management through increased mutual cooperation.
A powerpoint presentation on the overall activities of the Chittagong port, development projects, capacity building and modernization activities was presented at the board room of the CPA. The Ambassador observed the operational activities of the port and was informed about the ongoing activities of the port.
