Eviction drives start against illegal installations

Eviction drives started in the capital against illegal installations including shops constructed on the roads adjacent to different hospitals, including health directorate at Mohalhali in the city, reports BSS.
At the directive of Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim, the drives started in presence of concerned high officials of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Dhaka district administration and Dhaka north city corporation.
An official familiar with the process told BSS that all roads adjacent to the health directorate, public health institute, IPHN, BMRC, national cancer institute, national institute of cardiovascular and diseases and infectious diseases hospital also included in the drives.
The minister also asked the authorities concerned of different institutions and hospitals to ensure beautification of the respective installations after ending the eviction drives.
