Professor Abdul Mannan, chairman of the University Grants Commission, was present as special guest.
Professor Dr Yasmeen Haque of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology addressed it as the convocation speaker.
Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, chairman of the EWU Board of Trustees, and EWU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr MM Shahidul Hassan also spoke on the occasion.
