Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and Chairperson of the EWU Board of Trustees Syed Manzur Elahi, among others, speaking virtually at the 20th convocation of East West University on Monday East West University (EWU) virtually organised its 20th convocation on Monday, says a press release.
As the representative of the President, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni conferred degrees on graduates. A total number of 1551 graduates from both undergraduate and graduate programmes received certificates in the convocation.
Apart from this, two graduates were awarded Gold Medal for their excellent academic performance.
Md Mahbub Hossain, Secretary of Ministry of Education, was present at the convocation as the special guest while Prof Dr Biswajit Chanda, member of Bangladesh University Grants Commission, was the convocation speaker.
Syed Manzur Elahi, chairperson of EWU Board of Trustees, Prof Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, chief adviser of EWU, and Prof Dr MM Shahidul Hassan, vice chancellor of the university, also spoke on the occasion.
