EWU holds scholarship awarding function

The merit scholarship awarding ceremony of East West University (EWU) for Summer Semester-2007 was held at its auditorium in the city recently.
About 58 students received merit scholarships and 21 students were awarded scholarships from 'Medha Lalon Fund.'
Bangladesh Public Service Commission Chairman Saadat Husain distributed certificates among the merit scholarship earners as the chief guest at the function while president of the board of directors of EWU was the special guest.
EWU Vice Chancellor Mohammed Sharif presided over function.
A total of 329 students have been awarded merit scholarship and financial aid amounting to Tk 1.50 million.
