Former chief justice Md Ruhul Amin died of old-age complications at the Combined Military Hospital in the city at 04.30 am Sunday, reports BSS.
He was 83.
Justice Md Ruhul Amin has been suffering from old-age complications for a long time and has been receiving treatment at the hospital for the last few days.
His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) after Zuhr prayers at the Supreme Court inner garden.
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed and the judges of both divisions of the Supreme Court are likely to take part in the janaza.
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed, in a condolence message, expressed profound shock at the death of Justice Md Ruhul Amin. He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
