Ex-DU Professor Kamruddin dies

Professor KAA Kamruddin, former dean of Law Faculty of the Dhaka University, died of old age ailments in the city's Bangladesh Medical College Hospital Monday. He was 79, reports UNB.
He left behind his wife, two daughters, a son and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Kamruddin was laid to rest at Mirpur Intellectuals' Graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza at the mosque adjacent to Ramna Police station after Zohr prayers.
Born in 1929 in Gopalganj district Kamruddin had joined the Law Department of DU as a senior lecturer in 1962.
He was also chairman of Law Department of DU.
