Ex PP sentenced for taking bribe

MOULVIBAZAR, Sept 18 (UNB): Former Special Public Prosecutor (PP) of Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Advocate Jalal Abedin had been sentenced to five years rigorous imprisonment for taking bribe.
Additional District and Sessions Judge M Mahtab Hossain fined him Tk 5,000. In case of failure to pay the money, he has to serve six months more in jail.
