Expatriate held with gold bars at Sylhet airport

SYLHET, Aug 15 (UNB): Police arrested an expatriate with three gold bars worth Tk 1.6 million from the parking area of Sylhet Osmani International Airport Thursday night.
The arrested person was identified as Abul Kalam, a resident of Narayanpur
village under Kanaighat upazila of the district
A case was lodged with the Airport thana in connection with the incident.
Police produced Friday the arrested before a court which sent him to jail.
