Experts at a meeting held Sunday made thirty two-point suggestion to turn BSCIC's industrial estates vibrant within a short time.
Industries minister Amir Hossain Amu handed over a survey report to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina containing opinions of both experts and stakeholders to help small and medium industries of the country flourish.
Earlier, at a roundtable in February last, it was decided to find out ways to help small and medium entrepreneurs across the country and to provide them with plots in different industrial estates under the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC).
In the light of the decision, the BSCIC authority after discussion with different stakeholders and experts prepared the survey report.
The survey report was finalized under the leadership of BSCIC Chairman Sam Sundar Shikder and his other colleagues including director (Engineering), Abu Tahir Khan and Assistant manager, Dr Masud Reja.
"If BSCIC authority fulfils all the tasks given to them industrialization in the country will be achieved soon," the survey report said.
Top officials from the ministries of planning, finance and industries along with a group of eminent economists and other stakeholders put forward their suggestions to make BSCIC vibrant.
