Family Planning Employees' Welfare Association elects new central executive council

The Central Executive Council Election-2025 of the Bangladesh Directorate General of Family Planning Employees' Welfare Association was held recently, according to an official statement.

A five-member Election Commission was formed in accordance with the association's constitution.

As per the schedule announced by the Commission, the election was conducted smoothly and peacefully recently.

Third- and fourth-class employees from various institutions, departments, districts, and upazilas under the Directorate General of Family Planning cast their votes to elect the new 41-member Central Executive Council.

Two panels contested the election: the Kawsar-Abrar-Majhar Panel and the Saidur-Imrul-Nesar Panel. The Saidur-Imrul-Nesar Panel secured victory.

Mohammad Saidur Rahman Mazumdar (Kajal) was elected President, Md. Imrul Islam as Executive President, and Md. Nesar Uddin as General Secretary, along with the full winning panel of 41 members.
