Poet and thinker Farhad Mazhar was admitted to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the city due to health issues, reports bdnews24.com.
He was admitted to the hospital at around 11:00 am on Friday, said Mohammad Romel, coordinator of 'Vaab boithoki' and editor of magazine 'Banan'.
"Farhad Mazhar has been suffering from health problems for some time. His breathing difficulties worsened on Thursday night. He was admitted to the hospital on Friday morning. Tests and examinations are being done," he added.
