Father, daughter killed in road accident

KERANIGANJ, Feb 5 (UNB): A man and his daughter were killed in a road accident that also left his other daughter injured in Kadampur area on Dhaka-Mawa highway in South Keraniganj here Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Sirajul Islam Mintu, 45, and her elder daughter Sukanya, 11.

The accident took place when a bus crashed into the motorcycle of Mintu when he along with her two daughters-Sukanya and Rajkanya-was going to Kadamtali from Abdullahpur riding the bike.

Witnesses said the Dhaka-bound 'Gangchil Paribahan' bus rammed the motorbike in the area, leaving the trio injured.
