Father Charles J Young The 25th death anniversary of founder of the Cooperative Credit Union Movement in Bangladesh Father Charles J Young, will be observed today (Thursday), said a press release.
He died in a road accident on 14 November in 1988 in front of National Press Club and was buried in the cemetery of Tejgaon church, Dhaka.
Father Young was born on May 3, 1904 in the USA. He was ordained priest in 1933 and came to the then Bengal few months later.
