FE journalist Mostafiz's father dies

Mokbul Hossain

Mir Mokbul Hossain, a retired officer of the Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation, passed away at 5:00 pm on Saturday due to old age complications. Hailing from Manikganj, he was 80.
His eldest son, Mir Mostafizur Rahman, is a senior journalist at The Financial Express, while his younger son, Dr Mir Atikur Rahman, is a physician at Continental Hospital, says a statement.
His two daughters, Tamanna Afrin Shammi and Samia Afrin Urmi live in the United States.
The bereaved family has requested everyone to pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
