Female RMG worker stabbed dead in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Aug 18 (UNB): A female worker of a readymade garment (RMG) factory was stabbed to death by some miscreants near TPB Bhaban area in Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) in the port city Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Monzila Akhtar (23), daughter of Fazlul Haque Sharif of Mothbaria upazila in Pirojpur.

Abul Mansoor, officer-in-charge (OC) of EPZ thana, said Monzila was stabbed by one Ismail after they had an altercation over financial matter in the area around 8:00 pm.

Monzila was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where she succumbed early Monday morning.
