Fertiliser loaded truck seized, three held

SIRAJGANJ, Sept 1 (UNB): Police seized a truck loaded with 65 sacks of urea fertiliser from Chandidgati area of Sadar Upazila Thursday night and arrested three smugglers in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off CID police halted the truck at Chandidgati bazar area on Sirajganj-Bogra highway. Later, they recovered the fertiliser searching the truck.
The arrested were identified as Dilder (35), son of Samed Ali and Abdul Karim (33), son of Rezaul Karim of Mirjapur village under Mithapukur Upazila of Rangpur and truck driver Azizur, son of Ayeb Ali of Jordulal village under Pirganj Upazila of the same district.
A case was filed with the local thana against them.
