Freedom fighter Dr Syed Asadussaman expired on Tuesday (May 19) at the Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the city. He was 75.
He had been suffering from kidney and cardiac complications, said a press release.
He left behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He joined the Liberation War in 1971 and contributed as a doctor under 'K' Force.
He was Managing Director of Little House Limited.
He hailed from Alfadanga of Faridpur district.
