FF Rashid's death anniv observed

The 32th death anniversary of Freedom Fighter Abdul Rashid was observed on Saturday.

He was the Founder Editor and Publisher of the Daily Parbotto Barta, a daily newspaper of Chattogram hill tracts, Rangamati, said a press release.

He was also a senate member of Chattogram University.

He was killed by miscreants while working at his newspaper office in Rangamati on June 04, 1989.

Rashid was laid to rest in Rangamati Banarupa graveyard.

His family members Mostafa Rashid Rony and Sara Rashid (son and daughter) urged relatives, friends and well-wishers to pray for salvation of the departed soul.
