Fifteen persons killed in separate incidents

Fifteen persons were killed and many others injured in separate incidents in different places of the country, report agencies.
In Mymensingh, two minor boys drowned in a water body at Narangi village in Bhaluka Upazila Saturday morning.
In Sylhet, a woman drowned in floodwater at Dorakul village in Companyganj Upazila of the district.
Bidyut, a third year student of Sylhet MC College, was studying at the college staying at the house of his maternal uncle in the Rikabibazar area.
In Pabna, a schoolgirl was crushed under the wheels of a truck at Mirakumari in Iswardi Upazila on the Pabna-Kushtia Highway Friday morning.
In Habiganj, another minor schoolgirl was crushed under the wheels of a coach near Syed Moinuddin College in Madhabpur Upazila on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway.
In Dinajpur, two people were killed in separate road accidents at Putimara and Bhaduria villages in Nababganj Upazila.
In Putimara, Rehena was killed on the spot when a truck ran over her while she was crossing road at night.
In Bhaduria, a speeding power tiller suddenly turned turtle near the local market in the evening killing its driver Mushfiqur on the spot.
In Sylhet, a septuagenarian man was killed in a tragic road accident at Chiknagul in Tamabil Upazila on the Sylhet-Tamabil Road.
In Keraniganj, a young businessman was chopped to death near his shop in Banshpatti area of South Keraniganj Friday night for toll.
The victim was identified as Abdul Mannan, owner of Shawan Traders and son of Abdur Rahim of the area.
In Chapainawabganj, one person was beaten to death at Debinagar village under Sadar Upazila of the district. He was identified as Atabur.
In Naogaon, a youth died after a cobra bit him at Shibrampur village under Mohadebpur upazila in the district Friday morning.
In Rangpur, thirty five people, including women and children, were injured in a road accident at Motherhat area on the Rangpur- Dhaka Highway under Pirganj upazila in the district Friday.
In Chuadanga, two persons were killed and others eight were injured in three separate road accident at different parts of the district Friday.
As a result eight passengers were injured.
In another incident, Hasan, 35 was crushed under the wheels of a truck at "Panchmile" on Chuadanga-Jhenidah highway at about 8.00 pm Friday, police said.
