Fire at AL MP's house in city

Valuables worth about Tk 0.2 million were gutted in a fire that broke out at the residence of a ruling party lawmaker at Monipuripara in the city's Tejgaon area Monday night, firefighters said.
The flame originated from the store-room of the four-storey building of Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal MP at about 8:30pm and soon spread burning down the valuables, including furniture.
On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and found the blaze doused by the local people.
