A fire, that broke out at 'City Heart Shopping Complex' in the city's Nayapaltan area on Tuesday morning, has been doused after nearly one and a half hours of frantic efforts, reports UNB.
Fire service control room sources said the fire broke out around 7:40 am from the second floor of the market.
On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 9:00 am.
However, smoke was seen billowing out from the fire but there is no casualty, said duty officer of the control room.
The causes behind the fire could not be known yet.
