Fire breaks out on city building rooftop

A fire broke out on the rooftop of a building in the city's Motijheel area Thursday, reports UNB.
Fire Brigade officials said the fire originated from old woods caused by a burning cigarette butt on the rooftop of the fourth-storey building beside Daily Naya Diganta office at around 2:28 pm while some masons were working there.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and put out the blaze in 30 minutes.
