First paediatric OT for eye inaugurated

Country's first specialised paediatric operation theatre (OT) for eye has been launched at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital (NIO&H) at Agargaon, reports BSS.

Director of NIO&H and Line Director of National Eye Care Prof Jalal Ahmed inaugurated the OT, financially supported by NIO&H and Orbis, Wednesday.

Country Director of Orbis International Dr Munir Ahmed and Head of the Paediatric Ophthalmology Department at NIO&H M Forhad Hossain were present as the special guests.
