Five fake personnel of detective branch (DB) were arrested with walkie-talkie, handcuff, uniform of police and a private car from Khilgaon area of the city Tuesday night, reports BSS.
A squad of Dhaka city DB arrested them from near Khilgaon Flyover around 10:00 pm, an official release said.
They also recovered one walkie-talkie, a pair of handcuff, uniform of police, chapatti, knife and a private car from their possessions, he said.
The arrestees are Ilias Miah (28), Manik Sheikh (33), Yeasin Molla (35), Farid Mridha (38) and Forhad Hossain (35).
