Five women held with Phensidyl

JOYPURHAT, Oct 19 (UNB): RAB members arrested five women along with 129 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from Raniganj bus stand area in Ghoraghat Upazila of Dinajpur district Thursday.
Acting on tip off the elite force raided the area in the morning and arrested Rahima Begum, Shahnaj, Raushan Ara, Jony Begum and Anjuara Begum and recovered the Phensidyl syrup from their possession.
In another drive the RAB men also recovered 56 pieces of Indian sari worth about Tk 30,000 from a Khulna bound passenger train at Joupurhat rail station Thursday noon.
In Khulna, a team of RAB members arrested drug peddler Abu Musa along with 40 bottles Phensidyl syrup from Sonadanga bus stand in the town Thursday morning.
In Jessore, police arrested two people along with 342 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from Salua bazar in Chowgachha Upazila on the Jessore-Chowgachha road Wednesday night.
