The four-day 12th International Congress for AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP) will begin on November 20 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital, reports UNB.
Health Minister Mohammad Nasim made the announcement at a press briefing at his office Monday.
The minister also urged the political parties to refrain from enforcing any political programme like hartal and blockade during the congress.
Some 3,000 foreign delegates will participate in the conference to be hosted by the ministry of health and family welfare.
