Four hurt in gas cylinder blast at Ctg ship breaking yard

CHITTAGONG, Sept 5: Four workers of a ship breaking industry have been injured in a gas cylinder explosion in the Shitalpur Enterprise under Baro Kumira of Sitakunda upazila of the district.

The accident occurred as the gas cylinder exploded while they were working with it around 9:45 am. They have been admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Outdoor assistant of the hospital said they were out of danger.

Sitakunda police have rushed to scene, an ASI said. Names and other particulars of the injured could not be learnt, police said.                     pankajdastider@gmail.com
