Four killed in road crashes in two districts

Four people have been killed in separate road accidents in Cumilla and Chattogram, report agencies.
In Cumilla, two people were killed and four others injured after a car crashed into a parked covered van on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway at Kurchap in Debidwar upazila of the district around 7:15 am on Tuesday, said Monirul Islam, inspector of Eliotganj Highway Police Outpost.
"The microbus carrying six passengers was heading to Feni from Dhaka when it rammed a parked covered van along the road, leaving two people dead on the spot," Inspector Monirul said.
In Chattogram, two motorcyclists were killed as a passenger bus knocked down their vehicle on Chattogram-Cox's Bazar road in Amjurhat area of the district on Monday night.
The motorcyclists were identified as Mohammad Shahjahan (45) and his brother-in-law Rafiqul Islam Arzu.
