Jahanara Begum
Jahanara Begum, mother of former adviser to the caretaker government and chairperson of Adcom Limited Geeti Ara Safiya Choudhury, died of old age complications at BIRDEM hospital in the city Thursday.
She was 92, says a press release. She left behind three sons and two daughters to mourn her death. She was the eldest daughter-in-law of educationist and noted linguist Dr Muhammad Shahidullah.
