The German Embassy in Dhaka has launched a project of improving and expanding the existing facilities of the school that Monir Hossain, a 14-year-old arson victim of hartal, used to attend, reports UNB.
Chargé d' Affaires of the German Embassy in Dhaka Dr Ferdinand von Weyhe, travelled to Tangail in remembrance of Monir, the arson victim who faced an unfortunate death amidst all the unrest situation that prevailed in the country before the January-5 polls. On November 4, 2013 the teenage schoolboy, Monir, was killed on a hartal day when pickets set alight the covered van in which he and his father were travelling.
