An open discussion on 'Freedom of Thoughts and Practice on Independence of Wisdom' was held Saturday in the city to mark the 6th anniversary of Ghasful, a media house.
Presided over by Dr. Mehtab Khanm, Professor of Education & Counseling Psychology Department of Dhaka University, the discussion began with the recitation from poem by Kamrul Hassan. Ata Sarkar, Advisor of Ghasful delivered the introductory speech.
After the presentation of keynote paper by Harun Habib, the programme was participated among, others, by Afsan Choudhury, Journalist & teacher of BRAC University, Prof. Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque, Department of Bangla, Dhaka University, Ahmad Mazhar, Editior, Boier Jagot, Poet Junan Nashit, Nayeem Nizam, Editor, Bangladesh Protidin, Poet Mahbub Talukder, Mozammel Hossain Manju, Editor, Dainik Shakaler Khabar, Poet Morshed Shafiul Hasan, Syed Badrul Ahsan, Associate Editor, Daily Observer and Poet Sohrab Hassan, Deputy Editor, Dainik Prothom Alo, said a press release.
