Ghashful holds 44th AGM

Speakers emphasised on safe food production, elderly welfare and youth skill development at Ghashful's 44th annual general meeting (AGM), held virtually at its Chandgaon head office.

Chairman Dr. Monzur-Ul-Amin Chowdhury presided over the meeting. CEO Aftabur Rahman Jafree briefed the meeting about the activities of last year, according to a press release.

The meeting approved the audit report for 2024-2025, the budget for 2025-2026, and other key agendas. Speakers highlighted Ghashful's continued contributions to safe agriculture, healthcare, education, environmental protection, and social development across urban and rural Bangladesh.

Speakers also appreciated its impactful initiatives in the Barind region, promoting drought-resilient agriculture and sustainable livelihoods.

A new executive committee for the 2026-2029 term was announced, with Mafruha Sultana as chairman and Samiha Salim as general secretary.
