Former chairman of the Anti- Corruption Commission (ACC) Ghulam Rahman took over Tuesday as the president of Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB), reports UNB.
Ghulam Rahman served as the ACC chairman for four years from June 24, 2009 to June 23, 2013. Earlier, he was the chairman of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC).
Founded in 1978, CAB is a non-government and non-profit voluntary organisation dedicated to the protection and promotion of consumers' rights and interests in the country.
