GMF holds second general meeting

The second general meeting of Gender in Media Forum (GMF) was held at its secretariat in Lalmatia Thursday, said a press release.
GMF convener Selina Hossain chaired the meeting that was attended and addressed, among others, by Mohammad Jahangir, Geeti Ara Nasrin, Ranjan Karmaker, Omar Tareque Chowdhury, Nasimun Ara Huq Minu, Rokeya Kabir and Deel Manowara Monu.
A report on the programmes implemented by GMF during 2005-07 was presented in the meeting.
A 19-member committee was formed and a work-plan for the 2007-08 was also finalised during the meeting.
