Govt against using BTV as its mouthpiece: PM

Outlining her government’s plan to expand BTV through setting up stations at the division level, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday said the present government does not want to see the national television as its mouthpiece. Hasina was addressing the inauguration of the Golden Jubilee celebration programme of BTV on its premises in the city’s Rampura area in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
