Govt to import 25,000 tonnes sugar ahead of Ramadan

The government has decided to import 25,000 tonnes of sugar to meet the demand during the holy month of Ramadan. Cabinet Committee on Public Purchase at a meeting, presided over by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Sunday approved a procurement proposal of the Industries Ministry, reports UNB.
