Govt to stop question leaks, says Matia

Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury hoped Saturday that the government would be able to prevent the leakage of question papers, reports BSS
"We have stopped many wrongdoings in this country. We will also be able to prevent this (question paper leakage) by the grace of Allah," she said at a function at Nalitabari Upazila auditorium in Sherpur.
The minister distributed cheques for test relief (TR) grants for different religious institutions and maternity allowances among the beneficiaries.
She said the present government maintains good relations with all countries.
"Not only India, we enjoy good ties with China, Japan and the United States," she said.
Ms Chowdhury said the government is offering allowances to pregnant women so they could take good food.
Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Jakir Hossain, the function was also addressed by upazila chairman AKM Mokhlesur Rahman Ripon, Poura Mayor Anowar Hossain, Awami League leader Advocate Golam Kibria Bulu, Ziaul Haq Master and Moksedur Rahman, among others.
In the function, 252 mothers got Tk 2,100 each while three mosques got Tk 30,000 each.
Seventy-three mosques, temples and churches got money obtained from the sale of 80 tonnes of wheat of test relief (TR).
