This was told at a national dialogue on the action plan to prevent early marriage at the CIRDAP auditorium in the city, said an official release.

Secretary of the ministry for women and children affairs Nasima Begum addressed the meeting as the chief guest while Joint Secretary Tahmina Begum was in the chair.

UNICEF Bangladesh Deputy Representative Louise Mvono and UNFPA Bangladesh Deputy Country Representative Iori Kato took part in the discussion, among others.
